The Villanueva photovoltaic project is located in Viesca, in the state of Coahuila (Mexico).
It has installed capacity of 828 MW and it can generate over 1,867 GWh a year, equivalent to the annual consumption needs of 1.3 million homes, thereby avoiding the discharge into the atmosphere of more than 856,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
