At Prodiel we feel lucky for having undertaken projects in many countries, some of which have sub-standard living conditions. We are very aware of the important role we have in the promotion and development of the communities in the countries where we operate. Therefore, we always try to support our business activity with social contribution activities, promoting local labour and hiring and developing Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.
Prodiel is firmly committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an integral part of its business philosophy. We are aware of the impact that our activities have on society and environment and therefore we constantly seek to (i) contribute to the social, economic, energy and self-sufficiency progress of developing communities and of social groups which are most disadvantaged or in urgent need of social assistance, as well as (ii) collaborate with other entities having the same social commitment as us.
We are also aware of the strategic importance of our human resources, who are the determining factor of our present and our future. For this reason, ‘we take care of the people who make us a great company’. We continuously work to eradicate any situation of discrimination of any kind, promoting equal opportunities without accepting any kind of harassment at work.
Prodiel develops a Corporate Social Responsibility Management Policy in all its projects aimed at local communities. The different aspects include improvements to local infrastructures, donations, hiring local labour, training activities and awareness-raising campaigns, among others.
