The project had a Full EPC scope including the photovoltaic plant, the 400kV elevator substation, a 3 kilometre high voltage line and a switching substation, as well as the O&M during the first 20 years of the plant’s life.
More than one million solar panels were installed on its 800 hectares, generating a total of 880.5 GWh of energy per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of 441,000 Mexican families. In addition, it is estimated that this project is preventing the emission of more than 500,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
