Photovoltaic Plant El Bonal

Prodiel was in charge of executing this contract, which included the engineering, construction and commissioning of the project, as well as the high voltage interconnection with the construction of the 220/20kV transformer substation and the connection of the latter by means of a double circuit overhead line to the existing overhead line.

The plant consists of 250,000 solar panels, supported on 4,000 fixed structure tables. These cover the 115 hectares of land that make up the park, which is equivalent to a surface area of more than 200 football fields. The park produces 130 GWh per year, which avoids the emission of more than 60,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere per year.
