The Rumorosa Solar photovoltaic project is located near the city of Mexicali in the state of Baja California, in Mexico.
It has installed capacity of 54 MW and it can generate over 123 GWh a year, equivalent to the annual consumption needs of 56,000 homes, thereby avoiding the discharge into the atmosphere of more than 42,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
